I’ve never made an intro post
So here goes
I’m Matt. Most places on the internet, I’m known as mattgcn. I am a second-year Software Engineering student at McMaster University (in Hamilton, Ontario) but I’m kind of comically bad at programming and math sometimes. I’m really lazy and spend a bit too much time on the internet.
My blog URL, futuresushi, is a reference to a time where I got “fresh sushi” whose creation date was actually in the future. Fresh as FUCK. My blog title, “He’s got a heart that will never melt” is a lyric from the song The Arctic Circle by Owen Pallett. That link is a video I’ve never seen of him performing with Do Make say Think oh man that’s awesome
I run about a billion sideblogs that pertain to various interests. You’ll eventually be exposed to them all so I’m not going to link them. Or you can look in my sidebar.

Things I enjoy greatly
- Pokemon. More than anything. If you don’t enjoy frequent posting of Pokemon then I don’t recommend sticking around. DIRTQUATRO
- I’m really fucking good at Tetris but of course there’s a lot less about Tetris I can talk about so it’s not really a significant part of my blog it’s just a FUN FACT
- Various musics I like. I also run a weekly radio show whose playlists I tend to reblog on to here (but are archived there for simplicity). Additionally I am a part of several music-related blogs (Even more if you count ones for bands)
- I am a pretty huge fan of the work of Neil Cicierega on all fronts, though not as much as I used to be. I mod his forum, and I can confidently claim the second largest collection of his music outside his close friends
- Film, though this is a relatively new interest and I haven’t seen many “vital” films that anyone should have seen by now
- Homestuck, and while I try to keep the insane volume of Homestuck posts I make to a sideblog to accommodate some of my followers, it tends to spill over
- Adventure Time and other animation that focuses on the silly and absurd
- Scott Pilgrim, so much so that I am the head of one of the more popular Scott Pilgrim blogs around
- Food. Food makes up a large portion of things I reblog filled with a practically sexual lust. Here are some food blogs I am a part of:
- Cute animals. I follow several cute animal blogs. I’m not going to link them all because they’re all insanely popular
- The art of trolling. Sometimes the simple act of riling people up with something simple that should not aggravate normal people can be immensely satisfying. I feel this is a good time to mention fuck-yeah-tumblrs-worst-posts which I am a part of which goes god’s work to all the terrible fandoms around Tumblr
- When speaking in bullet points, I never put periods at the end of the final sentence. Except this time.
